Slum Hope and Love Community Based Organization through her flagship project dubbed Education + Entertainment - “Edutainment” offers a safe space for children in Nyalenda Slum to grab a read, play board games and access internet enabled TabLab, which are tablets and computers with educational materials they would otherwise not have access.
Over time, we have realized how easily accessible drugs and substances are in our community and the damage it has caused among children; coupled up with negative peer pressure. We have vowed to leave no child behind by providing options and promoting tailored alternatives for well adjusted toddlers, children, and teens for a future Kenya.
Our grassroot organization offers kids and teens a controlled environment to blow the steam – through dance and choreography, skate, football, play board games, read & browse free of charge and socialize with the peers, away from the glaring destructive options.
